The Ollee Watch one has been tested on the F-91W, A158W, F-84W, A159W, W-59, A171W, A163W and A164W models from Casio. Any watch movement that uses Module 593 is compatible.

Ollee Watch EL has been tested on all A168 and F-105W models from Casio. The watch movement must use Module 3298 There are older models of the A168 that have a module incompatible with the Ollee Watch EL. These models were manufactured before ~2012.

Yes — most watch faces and features work fully without having to use the mobile app. The only exception is the Sunrise/Sunset face, which needs location data from your phone. Some system settings also require the mobile app to configure.

No - but an account is required if you want to log and track your step counts, heart rate, and temperature data, as well as events.

By default you must turn on the Bluetooth manually by holding the ALARM button while on the Clock face, or by tapping the watch until the LAP (or SPLIT) symbol starts blinking. The Bluetooth will turn off automatically after each session with the app. You can enable Bluetooth to be always on in the settings, but it consumes a bit more battery life and isn’t as responsive as when you turn it on manually.

If your Ollee Watch has the NFC tag installed, you can tap it against any NFC-enabled device to trigger a programmed action. Due to the small antenna, range and performance may vary — you’ll need to find the “sweet spot” for your device. Note some devices might not be able to read the tag at all. The tag uses a programmable NTAG213 chip, and you can customize it using apps like NFC Tap (iOS) or NFC TagWriter (Android).

Note the NFC tag only works on pure resin based watches like the F-91W. A158W models with chrome-plated resin and steel straps attenuate the NFC signal too much.

The battery life depends on how your Ollee Watch is configured and usage patterns. With daily use the default settings provide about 10 months of battery life. There are different presets you can select in Settings > Device in the mobile app, which can extend the battery life up to 3 years.

To factory reset the watch press all three buttons at the same time quickly to enter the display test screen. On this screen hold the ALARM button and it will show the battery voltage screen. Hold the ALARM button again to reset the watch to default settings and clear all the data.

There is no dedicated heart rate sensor on the Ollee Watch. The way the heart rate face works is like a pulsometer. When you start a heart rate measurement, it requires you to physically count your pulse for 20 beats, then stop the measurement. Depending on how long it takes to count 20 beats, the heart rate face then calculates your BPM.

Whenever a watch is opened, the water seal is slightly compromised - this includes pre-installed watches from us! It’s recommended to take some precautions - washing hands, exposure to rain and sweat is fine - but it’s not recommended to shower, go swimming, or enter hot humid environments (like saunas) with it after the modification. There are no warranties by Ollee Watch for water damage!

The Electroluminescence (EL) backlight causes significant interference with the Ollee Watch EL electronics. To avoid user experience issues, certain features are turned off while the EL backlight is on. The two scenarios are explained below.

When the Bluetooth is actively connected to the phone, the backlight is disabled on the watch. This setting can be changed in the App > Settings > Device > EL Bluetooth Safe Mode. If this setting is disabled, the watch may disconnect from the phone when the backlight is turned on. If the backlight interrupts the Bluetooth connection, the watch will automatically turn Bluetooth on for 1 minute so you can re-connect in the app.

If the EL backlight is turned on, the watch will temporarily disable audio chimes as it may cause some distortion. Alarms and timers get priority and will turn the backlight off automatically if they ring.
